The world of watchmaking welcomes the new Oris Royal Flying Doctor Limited Edition watch. The novelty has been created in tribute to the vital work of the Royal Flying Doctor Service providing aero-medical and primary healthcare across Australia.
With its 61 aircraft, 21 aero-medical bases and 5 remote primary health
care facilities, the RFDS represents the most comprehensive aero-medical
service in the world. It annually delivers about 14,000 health clinics
in communities across Australia.
Oris has closely collaborated with the RFDS to give birth to the Royal Flying Doctor Service Limited Edition watch.
The black dial is completed with printed Super-LumiNova
numerals and indexes. You will notice the functional orange pulsation
scale on the dial – it is aimed at helping doctors in reading the pulse
of patients.
The 4 o’clock screw-in crown is to be used for settings the time, while
the 2 o’clock screw-in crown, featuring an outline of Australia, allows
to operate the inside turning black dial ring for the second time zone.
The heart of the new Oris watch is an automatic Oris movement Cal. 735, based on Sellita SW 220. The day window is found at 3 o’clock, while the date window is positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock.
The case is rendered in stainless steel and is 100-meter water-resistant. The face of the watch is shielded by a double domed sapphire crystal with non-reflective coating on the inside.
The mineral crystal case-back is engraved with «Oris Royal Flying Doctor
Service Limited Edition» and the limited edition number.
The new Oris Royal Flying Doctor Limited Edition watch
is teamed with a dark brown leather strap equipped with a stainless
steel buckle or a multi-piece stainless steel bracelet fitted with a
folding clasp.
The timepiece, a limited edition of 2,000 pieces, is delivered in
a unique box that also contains a genuine leather business card wallet
and a card with local emergency phone numbers. see more Tag Heuer orologi and replica Bvlgari
